The inaugural gallery exhibition at Plattform Studio Mainz celebrates exceptional images created right here in the studio, including a portrait of our co-founder, Maxi.
In September 2025, Plattform Studio Mainz hosted the very first exhibition of the new Gallery, sponsored by White Wall – a special format celebrating selected works created directly in the studio. The photographs, which will adorn the studio entrance for the coming months, are high-quality, large-format prints selected with great attention to detail.
This first exhibition is more than just a look back at creative moments; it is a tribute to what defines Plattform Studio: spontaneity, passion, and genuine craftsmanship. The White Wall prints are visible to everyone who enters the studio, whether for shoots, workshops, or community events. It creates a space where photography is not just produced, but celebrated.
We are particularly proud that a piece by our co-founder Maxi is part of the exhibition. The image was captured quite by chance during one of our regular Plattform Studio Meet-Ups – events where creatives from Mainz and the surrounding area gather to exchange ideas, shoot, and network.
On that day, Maxi was actually there "just" as a BTS photographer to capture the vibe in the studio. In a quiet moment, he spontaneously grabbed a model – no big setup, no planned shoot. The result was an intimate, expressive moment that now greets studio visitors, enlarged and framed. A reminder that the best images are often the ones you don't go looking for.
With the White Wall Gallery , Plattform Studio is making a clear statement: great photography deserves to be seen. The exhibition is designed to grow, be updated regularly, and become a permanent fixture of our studio identity over the long term. For visitors, it serves as an entry point into a creative world – and for us, it’s a constant reminder of just how awesome printed images really are.
