Challenges of festival production

A festival like Sputnik Springbreak is loud, vibrant, and often unpredictable – that’s exactly what makes it so appealing, but it also presents unique challenges for content production. Spontaneity is key, even with a tightly packed schedule. Scenes shift between acts and stages by the minute, requiring quick decisions and flexible coordination. At the same time, data management and editing must happen on-site – often under difficult conditions. Sound and lighting are rarely controllable, yet the final result still has to impress. Our experience from numerous festival productions helped us keep a clear head in hectic situations while delivering content that stands out – authentic, dynamic, and ready for maximum reach.
